Valentines '15

Johnson spoils me waaaay too much. 

Woke up to flowers, balloons, thee cutest stuffed elephant annnnnd brand new golf clubs&bag. Took me to eat sushi for lunch and shopped the rest of the day. Even if we didn't do anything exciting, just being together is all that matters. This Valentines was for sure one of the best! Thanks for a wonderful day, babe! 

6 Months Late.

It's been a few minutes... hasn't it? A lot has happened since October. I'll fill ya in. :)

November:  

• I moved out!!! Decided it was time to get out of the nest and become more independant - and of course, an adult. I live in Daybreak, and I love it!! 

Mine is the yellow one. :)

December:

• I went to the Jon Schmidt Christmas Concert. (I didn't really take any pictures of the concert. Only video but this was taken there...)

• I also went ice fishing at Rockport.

February:

• Went to San Diego, Sea World, La Jolla Beach and even my first bar.

March:

• Started a new position at work.
• Got a part time job at RC Willey in the "Get Connected" area (aka, Small Electronics) 
• I met GORDON HAYWARD!!!!!!! Again, let me repeat that, Gordon Hayward. <3 <3 For those who don't know me, I am OBSESSED. He is super duper nice and such a hottie :) 
  

April:

May:

• I got my first flat tire. That was fun...good thing the BF saved me. :)

• I started to do Jamberry Nails. I thought this would be perfect for me because I LOVE doing nails. There is hardly ever a day that I don't have nail polish on. Jamberry Nails are vinyl stickers. You heat them up with a heater or blow dryer and stick them to your nails. Viola! They last up to 2-3 weeks and they aren't damaging to your nails as like a gel manicure would. So far...I SUCK. I think not only because I started at the end of May but June was a bit hectic for me as you will see later in this blog. So please help a girl out? • This month was a rollercoaster. My grandma has been in and out of the hospital for awhile.  Many times a month after my grandpa passed. On June 16th, 2014 at 5:40pm, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. I didn't take it as hard as I thought I would because I knew she has been ready to go. I was honestly happy for her. She missed my grandpa a lot, and she was suffering with pneumonia, asthma, and chronic lung disease and it was only getting worse. I miss her very much but I know she is watching over me.
  
• I quit my part time job at the "Willey". Even though it was less than 3 months, I am going to miss it. I established many close friendships. Got to experience what retail life is, learned more people skills, learned about the latest technologies. Would I recommend anyone to work for RC Willey? Sure, only if it was your first job ever or just need a job that is pretty chill but we could talk on the side and I'll give you my thoughts. I left for many reasons, but I won't go into that. Ain't nobody got time fo' that! 
• I went to a family BBQ in honor of my grandparents and Taylorsville Dayzz. 
  
  
  
  
  
  

In case you are all wondering, yes, I'm still addicted to Starbucks. Surprise, surprise. But there is a new place that just opened in Sandy called, "The Orange Peel". They sell super healthy smoothies, bubble tea and bubble smoothies. It is freaking BOMB.com. I've gone 4 times already and they've been opened since June 16th. Ya'll should go try it. Did I mention that they are vegan free? :)

Well, that pretty much summed up what all has happened since my last blog. 

Oh, and I changed my blog name from "Soundtrack of My Life" to "Simply, Sam"

Fall Lovin'

I'm baaaacccck! :)

Let's face it. I just suck at blogging...so, here's an update, from my last update.

I recently just got back from California. Porterville, CA to be exact. Where's Porterville you may ask? It's right above Bakersfield. It's a pretty small town...and a bit ghetto. You know those oranges you eat? 80% of them most likely came from Porterville. There were just trees, on trees, on trees of oranges. (See what I did there? :) lol. lame...) There's tons of milking cow farms too. We drove out to Fresno on Saturday and spent most the day there. And let me tell ya, everything in Fresno was super oversized. Everything looked like it was on steroids. A stock of green onions as tall as 3 feet, and about 4 cm wide was only $1. A dollar!!! We ate some yummy sushi as well and went to the pumpkin patch for the little munchkin. Little munchkin? I'll have more details later. So I was in Cali from Friday - Monday morning. Then Monday afternoon, we were off to Vegas. On our way to Vegas, we stopped in Primm to use the bathroom, get gas, and of course, Starbucks. While I was waiting in line for our drinks, there was an older couple in front of me, showing very heavy PDA. I wasn't ease dropping or anything, but they were both talking pretty loud...Here's how their conversation went:
                             her: If my husband finds out or if we see one of his friends, I'm not sure how he'll take it.
                             him: Don't worry, he'll never find out. He's in a different state.

LIKE WHAT?! Are you serious??? I never thought I'd witness anything like that other than movies.

Anyways...we got to Vegas. We stayed at the Silverton Hotel. It's off the strip and that was pretty nice because it was less busy. I've never stayed off the strip before and I can say that I like it soooo much more. The hotel was nice. :) We got a luxury king suite. Then we went to eat some really good sushi, but...I ate ALOT. 3 rolls...that's alot, for me, it is anyways. After, we drove down to walk to strip. Okay, it's the middle of October and yet, the strip was sooo packed!!! Felt so claustrophobic. I had a pretty bad tummy ache, at first I thought it was from the sushi but we think maybe because I ate so many rolls, that we walked right after that it made my stomach like that... We walked to Cesars Palace and needed a bathroom. Umm...there was only TWO freakin' bathrooms out of the whole place. One of the first floor and the other on the top. WTF. We even got lost in there. After that, we decided to walk back to the car because of my tummy. I couldn't even walk the whole strip like I normally do :( The next morning, we just chilled for a bit, and got ready for the rest of the day. We checked out, got to explore Bass Pro Shop (it was next to our hotel) and it was soooooo cool. WAY better than Cabelas. Then we went to Rio to have some brunch buffet. The food was ok. Then we headed off to the Fashion Mall. I needed to go use the little girls room, what happened?? The ONLY bathroom they had was out of service. Good thing we were close to Macy's. They had a bathroom and it was such a wonderful experience....haha. jk. We didn't buy anything... Then headed off to the outlet mall and still...we didn't buy anything...

Update

Alright...it's been a while since I've blogged. I've been quite busy. School started again so that's taking some time, work? Well, let's just say, more responsibilities...which is a good thing. If only you knew why I said that. Lol.

I am currently on this phase of obsessing over minions. They are just too dang cute!!

My 21st Birthday wasn't too shabby. On the actual day, I had class. :( LAME. But I went out for sushi and ice cream afterwards with awesome people. Then on the weekend, my family took me out to Market Street Grill for dinner and we went bowling afterwards. It was pretty darn good.
I still haven't made it out the the DMV to get a new license yet...so that's a bummer.

I met three adorable kiddos a few weeks ago and I'm so attached to them...

I've made some big decisions recently, and I can happily say that I'm  happy with my life right now.

I really want the new iPhone 5S....

I really have nothing else to say....lol.

Missing Omar.

I seriously miss Omar Martinez. He's halfway across the country. I honestly can't wait until he gets back home. Even if it's only for a week. Omar has seriously been one of thee bestest friends ever. We use to email every single day and I stopped. I decided to send him a package of holiday cards, birthday present, snacks, etc. I stopped emailing him because in my mind at the time was, "If I sent him a package, maybe it will help us catch up because emailing each other everyday started getting hard for me." (Because work and school got in the way) and I honestly was worried the back and fourth emailing would run out of words to say because our emails kept getting shorter and shorter. But now, I regret it. I wish I wouldn't have done that. Even though he's miles and miles away, I know I can stil count on him. No matter what.

I check my email at least 3-5 times a day. I've organized my email that all the important stuff is on top, my bank stuff is in the top middle, my bills are down in the middle while regular mail is at the bottom. (I'm a nerd, I know.) Last Thursday, as I open my mail, my important stuff took me by surprise. What was it? An email from Omar with the subject being "Did you forget about me?" It literally broke my heart. I responded as fast as I can and I can say that I am slowly getting over my regret.

I can't wait until you are home, Omar.

Seems like everyone is getting married.

Where We Used To Run

Hey, it's been a year. Literally! Haha jk, I like to think I'm funny sometimes. Happy New Years! (Chinese New Years, that is. ;) )

Here's an update....again.

I've been super busy with work and school that I don't have time to blog. I'm currently taking 3 classes; Math, English annnnnnd.......... ORCHESTRA! Yup, Orchestra and not only is it just "orchestra class", it's the symphony. :) For those who know me since elementary, music was my passion. All I ever wanted was anything involved with music. Ever since I graduated, my passion slowly dropped. I got a job, I'm starting my life basically all over. Growing up is what they call it. I stopped playing my violin. When Spring 2013 registrations came, I decided it's time to go back into what I use to love and ever since school started, I am in love all over again. Although practice is crazy long hours through the night. It's worth it. Our first concert is coming up and I am stoked. 

Anyways...my cheeks are finally fully recovered and I no longer look like a chipmunk. 

I've fallen in love with beauty and fashion. I re-amped my room. I now have a vanity for all my makeup. 

My view of life is completely different from 3 years ago. 

That should be good for now. I promise I'll post more.
